David, a South African national and fixer of all things bent or broken, has lived a life that fully expounds Romans 8:28. His experiences, education and employment have --in true God fashion-- equipped him to thrive in nearly any environment, and to be able to organize anything. No stranger to disaster, God has called David (and his family) specifically at this time to serve the people of the US Mississippi Gulf Coast as they recover from Hurricane Katrina, to share with them the great mercy of Jesus Christ, and to serve as a Field Coordinator for the area. David has special burdens to devote his life to the Lord's service, to foster relationships between those who are separated by culture, color or creed, and to use his gifts to serve others.

Lynne can usually be seen dashing back and forth in his wake, seeing to "the details," cooking large amounts of food for hard-working teams, (she even deep-fried twinkies for one group of hungry teens) and homeschooling. David and Lynne have been married for eleven years, and have two treasures, Margaret (7) and Madeline (5), who serve with their parents and love the Lord with all their hearts. The family hails from Salem, Oregon, where they bask in the love of Salem Evangelical Church.
