Below is a list of children who need your help. Choose a child you'd like to sponsor and then proceed to our online giving center to process your payment. If you'd like us to choose a child for you, click Make Your Payment now and select "A child in need" on the following page.

Please note, in cases where donations and number of sponsors exceed what is needed for a particular child, Forward Edge will redirect the funds to another child in need of a sponsor.

Alondra (June 29, 1998). Before coming to the Villa, Alondra was often left in charge of her younger siblings and cousins. Alondra had to grow up very quickly in her role as "mom". Now she can go to school and just be a child!

Betty (1999 - exact date unkown). Betty’s dad was her primary caregiver and he had no one to watch her when he went to work at night. It was not safe for Betty to be alone at night in the dump.

Erminia (2001 - exact date unknown). Erminia’s dad recently died after battling a horrible illness that her mother also suffers from. Her mother's illness makes working in the dump to provide for her family even more difficult and her health is failing fast.

Karina (August 1, 1994). Karina was raised by her grandmother because her mother was unable to care for her. After her grandmother died she had no one who would take her. Karina asked if she could come to the Villa so that she could have an opportunity to be someone in life.

Katherine (October 6, 1993). Katherine's home environment was not safe for her. She was very happy to come to the Villa. Now she feels safe, happy and loved. She is a good student and is blossoming at the Villa.

Maria Celeste (October 28, 1999). Maria Celeste had a very difficult childhood full of abuse and abandonment. Her dad is unable to care for her properly. At the Villa she is thriving as a result of the constant care and affection she receives.

Martha (1995 - exact date unknown). Martha lived in a tiny house with her parents, 10 siblings and four others. It was not safe for a young girl. Martha also felt responsible for her elderly and ailing mother. She hated to leave her and rarely went to school. Her sister Monica also lives at the Villa.

Monica (December 19, 1996). Monica lived in a tiny house with her parents, 10 siblings and four others. It was not safe for a young girl. She rarely went to school. Her sister Martha also lives at the Villa.

Sara (September 17, 1993). Before coming to live at the Villa, Sara lived with her mother, her brothers, and a step-father. She didn't feel safe in her home and rarely went to school.

Scarleth (1995 - exact date unknown).Scarleth's dad died after battling AIDS. Her mother also suffers from AIDS and is failing fast. Her mother's illness makes working in the dump to provide for her family even more difficult.
