Hurricane Ida Recovery

Help those hurting in Louisiana recover their homes and lives.

Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on the morning of August 29th, 2021. While Ida impacted a smaller geographic area than Katrina, and resulted in a smaller death toll, some parts of the Gulf Coast—like Jefferson County, Louisiana, for example—were far more damaged by Ida than Katrina. Hundreds of thousands in the Gulf Coast are hurting right now, and the recovery effort will likely last for many months.

We will be sending financial support to pastor(s) in the Gulf Coast directly involved in the recovery effort. So, if you feel moved to make a donation toward these efforts, you can give to our Disaster Recovery Fund online or mail a check (including a note saying “Hurricane Ida Recovery”) to the address below. Thank you!
