Already the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Nicaragua was rocked in 2018 by a social and political crisis that left countless people hurting, both financially and emotionally, in ways they haven’t endured in decades.

At the request of our Nicaraguan leaders, Forward Edge is eager to send teams to Nicaragua in 2019 with targeted plans to serve people in desperate need of encouragement and support. Specialized teams can offer outreach such as men’s ministry, women’s ministry, children’s ministry, vocational training, pastoral training, etc. Book your team today to provide practical support and the transforming power of the Gospel to our hurting friends who are in need of our help and encouragement.

Villa Esperanza (Village of Hope) is a home for at-risk girls in Nicaragua, many of whom came from a local garbage dump. This holistic program offers daily food and lodging, quality education, healthcare, counseling, tutoring, and 24/7 discipleship. The Villa also serves schools and communities throughout Nicaragua with building projects, pastoral training, relational ministry, and a sexual purity training program.

Our partners, Gloria Sequeira and Wilbert Alvarado, are Forward Edge’s Country Directors in Nicaragua and Pastor Ricardo and Leyda Hernandez are the Directors of the Villa Esperanza Girls’ Program.

Customized pricing per team.
