Itzel

A sponsored child from our Mexico children's program

Oaxaca, Mexico is among the poorest regions in Latin America. Children here suffer from malnutrition, neglect and abandonment. They’re often forced to drop out of school to get a low-paying job that traps them in an endless cycle of poverty. This cycle often brings with it drug use, gang membership, and teen pregnancy.

Itzel attends our Trigo y Miel program, where she and over 120 other children not only receive nutritious meals, safe drinking water, medical care, tutoring, and emotional support, but they learn the life-saving message of Jesus Christ. You’ll get to hear Itzel’s amazing story first-hand at this event.
