Arnaldo lives with his mother in an unfinished brick house with an asbestos cement corrugated sheet roof. They cook with propane and electricity and have running water from the town aqueduct every two days which they boil to drink. The home has a refrigerator and a TV set.
Arnaldo’s father passed away when Arnaldo was 10 years old. His mother is a doctor and is the sole provider for the family. The family usually has two meals a day but toward the end of the month, it can be just one and a small snack at dinner time.
As a child sponsor, you’re providing things like nutritious meals, safe drinking water, education, health care, and spiritual instruction. Beyond meeting their critical needs, you’re building a priceless personal relationship with your child, helping them discover their true worth and God-given potential.
