On October 29, 2025, Hurricane Melissa battered the northern Caribbean, bringing days of heavy rain and flooding to Haiti. Although the eye of the storm did not make direct landfall, Melissa’s outer bands unleashed devastation.
Already displaced by gang violence and instability, many Haitian families are now cut off from food, clean water, and basic shelter. Crops and gardens that families relied on for survival have been wiped out, making an already dire hunger crisis even worse.
But families in our program receive much more than just food. Children and parents also experience spiritual encouragement, emotional care, and the support of a loving, Christ-centered community—reminding them that they’re not alone in this difficult season.
