Uganda:
A new well in Kibibi has transformed the community. School enrollment increased by 80% because children no longer miss class searching for water—and now we have the privilege of feeding them each day.
Kenya:
Rising test scores at Kiambogo Primary inspired surrounding schools to ask for the same support. Today, more than 1,300 students across four schools receive daily lunches, graduation rates have climbed from 65% to 80%, and all four schools have invited us to teach the gospel.
Cuba:
Partner churches held gatherings this year where 1,553 young people gave their lives to Christ. Now we have the honor of walking alongside them in discipleship.
Stories like these are unfolding throughout all 11 of our programs. As God grows the impact, the need grows as well—creating a beautiful challenge. More children are within reach than ever before, and together, we can step into everything God is opening before us.
For our program in Ghana, shifting global economics have created a new challenge. As tensions between the U.S. and China have increased, the U.S. dollar has lost significant value there. This means it now costs significantly more to feed the same number of children we’ve been caring for.
At the same time, the need is growing rapidly. Word has spread about the meals and care offered through our program. What began as a gathering of 30 children has grown to more than 450 children coming for food.
This rising cost and increased demand are part of why closing our funding gap is so important. Every child who shows up deserves the chance to receive the hope and care God is making possible through you.
