Whether you’re great at giving gifts or…not so great, we all love receiving that just-right thing we had in mind, or something steeped in meaning. Children in our programs love receiving gifts as well. Some of them never received a birthday or Christmas gift before entering our program.
Fabiana has been through many struggles in her life. Raised by her grandmother after her mother left, she missed a lot of school during this time of transition. Catching up has been hard, and she often feels left behind. When our program gifted her with her first-ever birthday cake, the look of joy on her face was priceless. She shared, “It feels like someone finally sees me.”
Your gift will provide holistic care for at-risk children: nutritious meals, safe drinking water, school support, and spiritual guidance. But beyond that, it gives our programs the capacity to make sure each child is seen, heard, known, and loved.
