Hurricane Recovery

Help those hurting in Cuba and Puerto Rico recover their homes and lives.

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida. It had already ravaged Cuba as a Category 4 hurricane with 125 mph winds. Only days before, Hurricane Fiona hit Puerto Rico as a Category 1 hurricane with 80 mph winds.

Cuba and Puerto Rico are both completely without power. Over 14 million people are without light or electricity.

Forward Edge has a children’s program in Cuba and a partner in Puerto Rico, both impacted by these dire conditions. We know they will need financial assistance because of these storms and we want to give you the chance to help.

We’ll be sending financial support to our program in Cuba and partner in Puerto Rico who are directly involved in the recovery efforts. If you feel moved to make a donation toward these efforts, you can give to our Disaster Recovery Fund online or mail a check (including a note saying “Hurricane Recovery”) to the address below. Thank you!
