Joseph lives with his grandmother in a three-room wood house that has electricity and a dirt floor. They do not have a good bathroom facility. Joseph and his three siblings have been living with his grandparents since he was three years old. His mother left the family many years ago to look for work, and while she calls from time to time, she has never returned.
