Leslie lives with her mom, big brother, her grandparents, and her young uncle. Her father abandoned the family so her mother had to move into her parents’ home. The home they live in is rented but Leslie’s grandparents have a very hard time financially providing for all of them. Her mother works sometimes and must leave her in the care of her grandmother.
Her brother, William, and uncle, Erick Yahir, are also in the Trigo y Miel program.
