As a child sponsor, you’re providing things like nutritious meals, safe drinking water, education, health care, and spiritual instruction. Beyond meeting their critical needs, you’re building a priceless personal relationship with your child, helping them discover their true worth and God-given potential.
Habari (hello), my name is Peter
8 yrs. old
Entered the program: October 2019
Peter lives with his mother and brother in a one-room, wood house that they rent. They fetch drinking water from a borehole which is usually contaminated and runs short of water in the dry season. Their bathroom facility is not in good condition and they share it with other tenants.
Peter's mother is a single parent and is suffering with breast cancer. Peter's father abandoned the family when she was diagnosed. His mother tries to work as a casual laborer to provide for her children but it is huge struggle since her chemotherapy is very expensive and often prevents her from working when she is ill.
