Adan lives with his mother, his brother Aldahir (also in the program), and sometimes his father, in a small rented one-room house with electricity, a concrete floor, indoor kitchen, and outhouse. They cook with propane as well as firewood. The home has water service once a week, and to bathe, they boil water and use a basin as a tub. The family has lived in their present home since 2020. Previously they lived with Adan’s grandparents.
Adan has some serious physical ailments, including congential heart disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and Noonan syndrome which cause a variety of debilitating symptoms. Adan’s mother is the sole provider and care-giver for him and his brother. She is very hard-working, washing clothes and making tamales to sell from home to earn an income for the family. She is not able to leave the house much due to Adan’s illnesses and his need for constant care. Adan’s father has an alcohol addiction and is often not at the home. He offers practically no support for his children.

When you sponsor a child, you’re not just providing essentials like nutritious meals, clean water, education, and health care. You’re helping unlock something far greater—their God-given purpose. You’re creating a bond that goes beyond meeting needs, showing them the love of Christ and guiding them toward a future filled with hope.
Select a child to sponsor and step into their journey with an ongoing commitment of at least $38 a month. By doing so, you'll be part of God's plan for their life, providing vital resources like education, meals, and spiritual guidance.
Receive your sponsor kit, complete with your child's detailed profile, photo, and special gifts. Get to know their hopes, dreams, and challenges as you begin a meaningful, life-changing relationship.
Share prayers, encouragement, and love through letters and photos. Your words have the power to shape their faith and future, offering hope and strength as they navigate life. You can even visit your child on a short-term mission trip!
Your sponsorship helps provide for your child’s physical, educational and spiritual needs. These needs are met differently depending on the community your child is in, but include things like:
